## Becoming a National Trauma Recovery Center
A proven, evidence-based model that combines crisis intervention, trauma-informed mental health services, and practical support to break cycles of violence and remove barriers to healing.

Developed by UC San Francisco in 2001, the TRC model was created specifically to serve survivors of violence who were falling through the cracks of traditional victim services. Since then, TRCs have demonstrated remarkable outcomes:
