Volunteers play a meaningful role in helping Solace create a welcoming, trustworthy environment for every person who walks through our doors. Whether you’re able to give a few hours each week or help occasionally, your support strengthens the work our team does every day.

The Easiest Way to Help

The simplest and most impactful way to support Solace is by sharing our mission. When you help others understand who we are and what we do, you expand access to hope, healing, and emotional well‑being across our community.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer roles support Solace behind the scenes and help our team focus on delivering expert, trauma-informed care. Opportunities vary based on your interests, experience, and availability.

Ambassador Team

Category: Community Outreach

Support Solace in hosting community events, appreciation gatherings, informational sessions, and fundraising activities. Tasks may include setup, greeting guests, decorating, registration, and general event support.

Events Team

Category: Community Engagement

Support Solace in hosting community events, appreciation gatherings, informational sessions, and fundraising activities. Tasks may include setup, greeting guests, decorating, registration, and general event support.

Hygiene and Essentials Donor

Category: Survivor Support

Purchase and donate hygiene supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and more. These items directly support survivors entering or transitioning through Solace services.

Storage Closet Organizer (The Link)

Category: Survivor Support

Help maintain and organize Solace's supply closet located at The Link. Tasks include sorting clothing donations, organizing hygiene items, restocking shelves, and keeping the space clean and accessible for staff and clients.

Handy Helper

Category: Facilities Support

Use your practical skills to assist with small repairs, hanging photos, assembling furniture, or other light maintenance tasks. Flexible, as needed support.

Moving Team

Category: Client Support

Assist with moving boxes, clothing, supplies, or occasionally heavier items such as furniture when Solace relocates materials. Great for individuals or groups willing to lend a hand as needs arise.
