Solace is honored to welcome Patty Brooks as our new Executive Director - a leader whose compassion, experience, and commitment to survivor‑centered care align deeply with our mission and values. Patty stepped into the role earlier this year, and her first few months have already reflected the steady, thoughtful leadership that will guide Solace into its next chapter.
Patty brings more than 25 years of experience working in federal and state government and nonprofit organizations, including 16 years as an Executive Director. Her background spans program development, organizational leadership, community‑based service delivery, and trauma‑informed advocacy. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong dedication to strengthening access to services, supporting vulnerable populations, and building collaborative, community‑driven solutions.
Patty’s approach to leadership mirrors the heart of Solace’s work: grounded, relational, and deeply committed to the well‑being of survivors and families. She believes that meaningful change happens when organizations listen closely to the people they serve, invest in strong relationships, and create environments where healing and connection can thrive.
Her vision for Solace includes expanding access to long‑term therapy, strengthening community partnerships, and continuing to build a trauma‑informed culture that supports both clients and staff.
As Solace continues to grow, Patty’s leadership will play a key role in shaping the future of our services - from therapy and advocacy to prevention and community education. Her experience and steady presence bring renewed energy to our mission and reinforce our commitment to providing hope, connection, and support to individuals and families across our region.
We are grateful for the strong foundation built by our team and excited for the direction Patty will help lead us in the months and years ahead.
Please join us in welcoming Patty Brooks to Solace. Her leadership marks an important milestone for our organization, and we look forward to the meaningful impact she will help create in our community.
